Wow! I was so impressed with all the students today. Thank you for stopping by our room. Not only did we have a lot of fun, I loved hearing the mathematical knowledge buzz around the room! The kids brought geometry and mini-golf to a whole new level! Check out the pictures above!

On Thursday, we were lucky enough to have a golf course architect come visit our classroom! Mr. David Johnson designs golf courses as well as being Inman Middle's golf coach. Designing courses has been a wonderful
Mr. Johnson taught us a great lesson on designing holes with the idea of risk and reward. For example, if a player takes a risk and tries to hit over the water, you (as a designer) want to provide them with the reward of being closer to the hole.
We also loved having him give us input and use his expertise to perfect our hole designs! Thank you, Mr. Johnson!
